High-elevation breather tubes (also called capillary tubes or pressure equalization tubes) are recommended for windows and doors installed at high altitudes. These tubes help manage the pressure differences that occur when insulated glass units (IGUs) are manufactured at lower elevations and then installed at higher ones.
